On our farm in West Central Wisconsin, horses continue to be the biggest part of our lives.
Nan has worked with and owned horses for over 35 years.
In the early years, she began showing at local, regional and state open shows and 4-H competition. After college, she competed in USDF recognized dressage competitions in the Midwest and Northeast US. After returning to the Midwest, she and her husband started raising Shire draft horses, competing at North American Classic and American Shire Horse Association competitions.
She garnered a B.S. in Animal Science from the University of Minnesota, where she enjoyed working for the College of Veterinary Medicine.
For the past decade, she and her husband have run a successful boarding facility for retired horses and bred, foaled and shown their Shire draft horses. Horse nutrition is key in both endeavors.
She loves working equally well with people and animals! Please get in touch to 'talk horse' today!
